The Mid Control preamp is functionally equivalent to the preamps found on Tyler guitars. It's directly comparable to the Demeter Fat Control. If you're looking to recreate the Dann Huff sound, this preamp will be a valuable tool.

When the potentiometer is at zero (fully counterclockwise), the response is flat and the preamp acts as a buffer with a gentle boost of about 3 dB. The further the potentiometer is turned clockwise, the more gain the preamp has in the low-mid frequency range (centered around 300 Hz). Maximum gain is about 16 dB.

Mid Control Preamp is based on a low-noise and energy-saving, dual operational amplifier, selected in terms of operating parameters. All the components used on the PCB are in the SMD version, thanks to which it was possible to make a preamp with smaller dimensions and also with improved functionality.
