Onboard Guitar Preamps
The presented EQ-Boost is a miniature built-in guitar preamplifier,
based on the Blade VSC-3 with a modification that changes the work of
the preamplifier in relation to the original version. In this version,
the preamp works as a 3-band EQ.
It is the same EQ-Boost preamp, which is already well known, but this time it was equipped with external potentiometers. Thanks to this solution, the EQ control can be led to the front panel of the guitar, or you can even use this module to build a stompbox preamplifier.
EQ-Boost Preamp is based on a low-noise and energy-saving, quad operational amplifier, selected in terms of operating parameters. All the components used on the PCB are in the SMD version, thanks to which it was possible to make a replica with smaller dimensions than the original (and other replicas), and thanks to the modification of the scheme, also with improved functionality.
