DynaComp is a classic and most popular guitar compressor that needs no introduction. The first edition was released by MXR in 1972 as a stompbox. Here, a miniaturized version of DynaComp was developed.

DynaComp has VOL and SENSITIVITY controls, so you can set the signal level and the degree of compression. The heart of the compressor is the CA3080 (OTA) chip. Thanks to this effect, you can get a selective attack and long sustain in solos.
