The BlackWall Bass Preamp is an active bass electronics based on the old electronics known from the Wal Pro Bass II (five knobs), built in a modern modular form, but maintaining the classic sound. 
The BlackWall preamp is built on JFET transistors, the input modules use the J201 transistor, and the master module is built using the original NOS Siliconix U406 - exactly the same as in the old circuit. 
The complete set includes three active modules with push-pull potentiometers (2 x LMB/HMB, 1 x MST) and two tone potentiometers with cable harness. 

Functions of the following knobs:
 - Neck volume and push-pull boost switching,
 - Neck tone,
 - Bridge volume and push-pull boost switching,
 - Bridge tone,
 - Master volume and push-pull attack filter switching. 

One pickup is connected to one LMB/HMB input module, the second pickup is connected to the second LMB/HMB module. The tone controls for the individual pickups are connected directly to the individual LMB/HMB module. The LMB/HMB modules have a DIP-switch selector that allows you to change the boost frequency. Then the signal from the two LMB/HMB modules is summed in the MST module and passed to the output.
