The BP-26dB preamp is another miniature onboard guitar preamp, built to achieve even bigger gain than the G-201 or even G-501 preamps provided. The BP-26dB preamp, as the name suggests, can reach a gain of up to 26dB, which can be conveniently set using the multi-turn potentiometer used in the circuit.

The heart of the BP-26dB preamplifier is the low-noise TL061 operational amplifier, the parameters of which ensure good system operation, and the small dimensions allow the preamplifier to fit in practically any guitar.

When building this preamplifier, the intention was to get the functionality of the MXR MicroAmp, but at the same time, the assumption was that the circuit should be as small as possible and could work as an on-board pramp.
